The Gardens

LUXURY HOTEL LOCATED IN TOURNON-SUR-RHÔNE, IN ARDÈCHE, SOUTH OF LYON

The gardens

Diffidently perched along the residence’s slope, the hotel gardens are conducive to contemplation, to simple joys and to a state of grace. Laid out upon three levels and stretching over 2,000 m², they run all the way to the town’s old fortifications, where the view overlooking the Rhône River and the Hermitage hills is simply breathtaking.

One can also see some of the top monuments in Tournon architecture like the Museum-Castle, Saint-Julien Collegiate Church, the Hotel de Salignac and the dome at Gabriel Faure Lycée.

Nature invites you to rest at the foot of ancient trees. Rosebushes, centennial yews, Indian lilac and wisteria all play their part in composing the setting. It is even whispered that there are underground tunnels still in existence that provide a secret passage into the castle...
